I’m Lee Zhi Ying, you can call me Elena. I’m a graphic design student studying at Saito University College. The reason why I chose to study design because I like things that are unique and creative. I really admire designers that are able to create beautiful art. This inspired me to become a creative designer.
I’m a self-motivated & hardworking person. I have strong interest in graphic design, and photography.
My philosophy in my life is “The way to know life is to love many things.” I like to learn new things because it makes me feel improved and discover different aspects of myself.
Nestle's Ice Cream
My design campaign is to help Nestle Ice cream to launch a new product and help them to advertise it. The product is called Low-Cal, it means low calories ice-cream. Low-Cal is an ice-cream made with Greek yogurt and blueberry. The main selling point is low calories, low fat and high protein.
Nowadays, people are paying more and more attention to health, and when they enjoy ice-cream, they are afraid that too many calories will make them fat or unhealthy. To combat this fear, low calories ice-cream is here to save them from worrying about this problem. This is because this ice-cream uses Greek yogurt and blueberry, which is a food rich in high protein, vitamin C and low fat.

Apply brush techniques and brush sets to the painting, after painting use the smudge tool to blend them smoothly and add detail to make it look more complete.
Photography
Leather photography shooting the leather bag with f/5.6, 1/20 sec and ISO1600.
Focus on the leather texture detail, using the red lighting to soften the light and the background using velvet cloth to make it look more professional.

The title of this acrylic painting is Malaysia Heritage:
“A timeless expression”. A man uses a traditional durian knife to open up a durian in a Pasar in Malaysia.
Durian and Pasar are Malaysia’s unique cultural heritage, the objective is to encourage an appreciation of national heritage among Malaysian youth.

Brochure design of "What is Covid-19" and how to prevent it.
I’m using sans serif font to bring out seriousness and spirituality.
The design of the font for What and How I merged with the map picture. I use some image and vector graphics to support the background and apply contrast colour between font and background. The colour I apply is white and eastern blue.
It's meant to be associated with purity, safety and protection. Colour blue is typically associated with credibility, knowledge, professionalism, cleanliness.
