Heya! My name is Nikki-Liz Francis and I’m 21 years old. Right now I’m
pursuing my diploma in Graphic Design at Saito University College.
I was born in Kuala Lumpur but raised in the heart of Subang Jaya.
Art has always been a part of me since childhood. I would occupy my time making gifts, crafts and festive cards for my family. I just loved the idea of playing around with colours and shapes to create something beautiful.
As I got older, I started doing illustrations and took part in school-based art competitions. It sparked my artistic senses and my creativity developed.
OREO CNY Red Velvet Motion Graphic Ad
Oreo
This design campaign focuses on Oreo’s new flavour ‘Oreo Red Velvet’. I’ve decided to make it into a festive advertisement.
Given that the infamous biscuit has a new ‘red’ look, I had envisioned pairing the new flavoured treat with our local festive season; Chinese New Year.
Wanted to play around with this Chinese New Year’s zodiac sign; the Ox. With that, I have created a mascot to Go along with the campaign.

This is a magazine displaying my favourite superhero from the Marvel Universe; Gamora. Creating this piece was indeed challenging but it definitely paid off in the end as everything came together.
Digital Illustration
Over here is a sample of my digital illustration. Had lots of fun experimenting with different brush strokes and trying it on a digital drawing tablet.
Coloured Portrait
My first ever life-sized portrait drawing using colour pencils. Working on this piece felt very nostalgic, given that I used to do a lot of colouring back when I was little. Pretty happy on how it turned out, wouldn’t mind doing it again : )
Copywriting
I really enjoy creating headlines and coming up with ideas for ads is indeed interesting. With this ad, I made it innocent and cute by adding peach and a banana for representation hence the brand durex.
